Michael H. Woods is a choral conductor, music educator, and tenor singer with a passion for all things singing and teaching. Having recently completed his Masters in Choral Conducting and Voice Pedagogy, he now serves as the Music Director for the “Friends of Harmony” Barbershop Chorus.
Having been singing barbershop since he was in high school, Michael has sung in several competing quartets and is an active member of the Barbershop Harmony Society. Outside of the “Friends of Harmony”, Michael works at Tapestry Charter School teaching music and modern band to 5th-8th graders. In addition, he also sings with the Buffalo Philharmonic Chorus and the Incipio Singers. He loves nothing more than making good music, his fiancee, and his three cats.
